We have a scientist.

My Girl is obsessed with rain, she always points out the obvious when we walk to the car in the morning. She will stop in the driveway, look up, point and exclaim 'It's raining Mama!'. All while getting wet. This morning was just foggy and post rain so we didn't get soaked as usually. In the car Sylvie pointed at the windshield and the drops of water on it and asked: 'Mama- who did that, on the window?'. I decided to test her knowledge, since I have not decided about our Church going habits and what they might be (they are non existent right now). So I said- 'Hm. Do you think God made the rain?'.

Sylvie answered- 'No. I don't think so.' In that one second I realized I have failed my daughter's religious upbringing- lets try another route. I asked her: 'Maybe Mother Nature made the rain?'. Sylvie answered questionably- 'Mm. Maybe.'. At this point I decided to see how philosophical my daughter was and went one step further. I asked her- 'Do you think the clouds made the rain?' And she answered very matter of fact-ly- 'Yes. Yes I think so Mama.'
