The doctor said she would not be smiling until she was about 6 weeks old- this sure looks like a smile. Or she is just pooping. :)

Sylvie McKenzie Harrison

Sylive was born on August 1st. At 10:35p.m. via "C" section. She was 9lbs. 2 oz's. 21 and a half inchs long.

Karen endured 22 hours of labor when our Dr. decided that things were not moving along properly and the decision was made to move towards the "C" section.

Mother is sore but doing very well baby is happy to be out in the world and already has Dad wrapped around her little finger.

Thanks to everyone who waited most of the day to meet the newest addition to the family their support and help through the day really meant a lot to us.

Baby Day!

Well we are at the hospital waiting on baby! We went to our regular dr.'s appointment yesterday and they decided to go ahead an induce today. The baby is big and might be running out of room! We left the dr's. office at about 4:45 (our appoitment was at 2:45 btw!) and were told to wait for a call form the hospital to tell us to come on it. Apparently the hospital was full, because the hospital called at 10:30. We were checked in at 11:45. I was given cervidil at 2am and hopefully something will start happening around lunch time! Very exciting!
